Our start-up supports

The Innovation Office plays a significant role in Galway's start-up ecosystem. The team encourages and helps develops companies emerging from our university's research outputs and innovation programmes (BioInnovate Ireland, BioExel, Health Innovation Hub and TechInnovate). A network of complementary incubation centres are based in Galway city, starting with our own Business Innovation Centre which is home to over 35 companies. These companies spin-in to collaborate with our experts or spin-out from our university's research efforts.
